Nate Smith, one of the best drummer of our time, has appeared on HOTEI’s new album “Soul to Soul” and performed on “BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY (Solid Groove) feat. Nate Smith”.    He holds a diverse and ample resume – which includes work with esteemed jazz leading lights including Pat Metheny, Jose James and many others.   Also, on his 2x GRAMMY-nominated album, he has successfully fused his original modern jazz compositions with R&B, pop and hip-hop.

The footage of “BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY (Solid Groove) feat. Nate Smith” was produced remotely, where HOTEI filmed his portion in London and Nate Smith in Nashville, Tennessee.   As the sub-title of the track explains, HOTEI and Nate Smith came together under a “Solid Groove” and created a new version of ” “BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY”.
