Hotei performed two showcases in USA this week and received a rapturous welcome for his first ever show in Los Angeles on 13th July, playing at a sold out Troubadour, the legendary Hollywood rock n roll venue which recently hosted the Guns N Roses “classic line up” reunion gig. After LA, Hotei returned to Highline Ballroom in New York, having first played there in 2013.

The three piece band consisted of Noko and Cliff Hewitt of Apollo 440 on bass and drums, and the set list included songs from the Strangers album as well as other notable solo material and a couple of songs from the Boowy era, which was a big surprise for the Japanese fans in the audience!
